WORK EXPERIENCE 

PRODUCTION & EPC MANAGER                                                                                                                   September/2018 – June/2024 

ENERGY STORAGE SOLUTIONS 

Responsibilities: Organize factory work and resources. Establishment of manufacturing procedures; monitoring costs; flowcharts, manufacturing and document quality (ISO 9001), safety and Environment (ISO 45001 and ISO 45001); input of materials and output of products. Waste management, recycling. The product is Vanadium flow batteries with different sizes. Participating into various Lithium battery projects as support for the technical team: Cost control, supply of materials and supervision of civil works for a lithium battery storage project. The scope of the work included preventing all difficulties and providing all the resources that were necessary for the proper development of the work.   Upon completion, support in the rest of the project areas (Quality, Health and Safety, electrical part, Communications -Scada- and Commissioning).

Energy Storage projects executed:

Holes Bay – UK- 7MW y 7MWh 2019 -2020. Tesla batteries.

Balen -Bélgica- 25MW y 100MWh. 2022-2024. SYL (Risen) batteries.

GRANSOLAR

Responsabilities:

Construction of photovoltaic plants worldwide. Main References: 

2018 Los Prados (Namasigüe - Honduras): 30MW photovoltaic plant with single-axis tracker. Team of 200 people in charge in the Peak Production of Construction Phase. 

2017 - 2018 Ikako (Chiriqui – Panama): 45MW photovoltaic plant with single-axis tracker. 

2017 Sobral and Sertao (Piauí - Brazil): two photovoltaic plants of 35MW each with a single-axis tracker. 

2016: Mauritius: a 2MW plant with a single-axis tracker. Creation from scratch of the construction company and administrative procedures. Negotiations with the Red distributor for connection permits. 

2007: Rodasolar. 2MW. 2-axis trackers. 200 Mecasolar followers in the Municipality of La Roda (Albacete).

OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE MANAGER - EUROPE                                                             December/2013 – December/2016

GRANSOLAR

Responsabilities:

Improve the O&M procedures of European plants. Almost 100MW in small PV plants distributed along Spain. 2008-2010: Operation and Maintenance Advisor in Calasparra and Fuente Alamo (Murcia - Spain) for an external client. Supervision of the Commissioning of the facilities.

INGENIA SOLAR ENERGY

Responsabilities:

Implementation of procedures, evaluation of new tests, adaptation of procedures under ISO 17025 standards, Process Management, Continuous Improvement. Management of two laboratories: Spain and South Africa. Implementation of Factory Inspection and Audits processes. Experience in factory inspections (China). Negotiation of acceptance and rejection criteria. Implementation of product inspection systems.  Quality Control: Implementation of inspection lines in photovoltaic module factories. Factory audits for external customers. Opening and accreditation of laboratory in South Africa under SANAS requirements. It was at that time the first and only photovoltaic laboratory accredited under ISO 17025 standards in Africa. 

Plant inspections: Production audits, performance reports, visual and thermographic inspections, monitoring and analysis.
